Our Physics Department Student Serap Pak Participated in the Astronomy Training / Job Shadowing Program in Cooperation with TUA
Serap Pak, a 3rd-year student of the Physics Department at Çankırı Karatekin University, participated in the “Astronomy Training / Job Shadowing Program” organized by the Astronomy Education Application and Research Center of Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) in cooperation with the Turkish Space Agency (TUA), gaining a valuable academic experience in the field of space sciences.
During the one-week program, participants attended introductory theoretical lectures on astronomy and space sciences. The training covered fundamental astronomy topics, the structure of celestial bodies, physical processes in space, and current space studies and projects in Türkiye. Throughout the program, students had the opportunity to closely observe academic and applied studies in the field of astronomy.
The program brought together students from different universities, providing a productive environment for academic interaction and the exchange of scientific perspectives.
Sharing her thoughts after the program, Serap Pak stated: “This program increased my interest in space sciences. The knowledge I gained made a significant contribution to my academic studies in physics.”
As the Physics Department of Çankırı Karatekin University, we continue to support our students’ participation in national-level scientific and academic programs. We congratulate our student Serap Pak on her participation in this valuable program and wish her continued success in her academic journey.
