General Information
The Department of Physics established in 2007 aims to train students who can work in interdisciplinary teams, teach, do research on their own, and so can be productive in the field and can serve the country and humanity scientifically. In order to achieve this goal, our department includes endowed teaching staff and laboratory facilities. Students can perform experiments in undergraduate laboratories where Physics I (Mechanics) and Physics II (Electric Magnetism) experiments can be conducted. There is also a research laboratory where our faculty members and students can take part in advanced research.
The quality standards of education and training are quite high in our department. Such varied perspective paves the way for exciting collaborations between research groups within the physics department as well as with other European and American Universities. A physicist who graduates from our department can work as a research assistant at universities, can specialize especially in R&D and quality control laboratories, and can create projects. Physicists having M.Sc. and PhD degree can work and use their expertise in various sectors outside the university, such as the health sector.
Some of the institutions at which the graduates of our department can work are Turkish Atomic Energy Authority (TAEK), TÜBİTAK, MAM, ASELSAN, TAI, Republic of Turkey Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, The Ministry of Industry and Technology and etc…
As Department of Physics in Çankırı Karatekin University, with the broad research opportunities we will offer you, we will be happy to see you, valuable university candidates, at our department.
